Covers Vermont history after World War II. Includes the growth of the car culture, the advent of television, growth of ski areas, and the rise of Vermont tourism.

Vermont memories III vanished images /
Covers things from Vermont's history that no longer exist. Part I, Yankee ingenuity, includes the marble industry, Chubb fishing rods made in Post Mills, Estey organs manufactured in Brattleboro, logging in the Northeast Kingdom in the 40's and 50's, crackers produced by the St. Johnsbury Cracker Company, and the International Explosives Company in Swanton. Part II, The times, covers the back-to-the-land communes of the 1960's, Bennington Pottery Company which closed in 1913, the affect of the flood of 1927 on the Little River Valley, and relics of the past on Burlington's waterfront. Part III, Fun and adventure, discusses Island Park in Brattleboro, hotels, summer camps, the ski jump featured at the winter carnival in Newport, and racing at Milton's Catamount Speedway.
